Library for Service Unit 440
Service Unit 440 has a library of books, periodicals and other materials available for check out to Service Unit 440 Girl Scout Leaders/Troops. Materials include current and Legacy Badge Books and Leader Guides, Songbooks, Ceremonies, etc.
If you are interested in checking out materials, please see the Service Unit Librarian at the monthly Service Unit Leader meetings or contact the librarian directly.

Process to Check-out and Return Items
Check-out items:
- Schedule a date/time with the Librarian to check-out items or visit a monthly Service Unit Leader Meeting
- Complete the check-out card; file in the Check-out card box.
- Schedule a date/time with the Librarian to return items or visit a monthly Service Unit Leader Meeting
- Update the check-out card to ensure it is marked as returned; give to the Librarian
- Items may be borrowed for one month unless agreed upon with the Librarian for a longer duration.
- If items are lost they must be replaced or a check provided to the Service Unit for the current replacement cost.
